We have a healthy population of blacktail deer supported by rich oak woodlands, hilly grasslands and ample cover in the brushy canyons and north slopes. Each spring the turkeys come over the ridge on the eastern boundary of our property and spread out, fanning, strutting and nesting until winter, when they leave us alone for a few months. Experienced guide and expert taxidermist Chad Wiebe will show you where the birds are.

Turkey season runs from the last weekend in March until the first weekend in May. Turkeys can be legally hunted from sunrise until 4:00 pm. There is also a fall season in the second half of November. The duration of the hunt is two days and each hunter can take one bird. Turkey hunters can expect to spend all day in the field with lunch and drinks provided while in the field. The spring turkey season especially in the Adelaida area of Paso Robles is extremely fast paced and full of action. For the past three seasons our hunters have been 100% and in the 2010 season we took a potential # 7 for nwtf Rio turkey in CA and CA # 2 for spur length.
